Caricature of the author

Paco Salas and Cortés has been living in Sant Cugat for over 36 years.
He is completely self-taught and an expert in Antique styles: Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, Modernism, etc…
Highlights of his permanent work are the replica of the frontal part of the Romanesque altar of Santa Maria (monastery at Sant Cugat del Vallés), the altarpiece of the main altar at the monastery’s church in Sant Cugat and the replica of the ‘Majestat Batlló’ at the Montjuich palace.
He is married and has three children. He loves walking, being in contact with people, talking, being informed about current national and international affaires and loves spending time with his family.

Graphological study: His dynamic intellectual capability enables him to be receptive towards any idea coming from his environment. He learns quickly. As an artist, he is imaginative and creative. Nevertheless, he tries to obtain tangible and practical results. He always rejects digressing.

The ability to reply to any stimulus given is agile. This aspect helps his verbal communication. He loves talking, has a great verbal fluency and loves impressing his interlocutor. He is very sincere and normally says what he thinks. But once he thinks he is in the right line of thought, he may turn out to be slightly categorical in his statements, even up to being stubborn about it.
He deeply defends his point of view. He is a self-assured person and quite satisfied of himself. He knows what he wants and how to get it.

He turns a thought rapidly into action, which might make one think that he feels somewhat impatient towards possibly delayed results. He is proud and puts up very reluctantly with failure and mediocrity. He can act selectively with people who form his environment.

When he sets out to do something, he invariably achieves it because of his strong will. His handwriting tells of an ambitious character. He is naturally inclined towards the arts and is capable of turning a tree trunk into something wonderful. Art to him has nothing to do with the way it is being taught at the academy. To him art has to be felt from the bottom of the heart.

Any person who knows the artist Paco Salas is touched by his personality.
